Optional Contests
The optional contests provide more opportunities to win additional awards and to showcase your individual interests, gain confidence, and be recognized for your talents.
These are offered for an additional fee of £25 per competition. Please note that optional competitions do not contribute to the overall scores or main title winners.

Beautifully Inspiring Ambassador
Talent:
This is your chance showcase your talent! Whether it be singing, dancing, acting, horseriding, flower arranging, painting, drawing, show jumping … whatever it is that you feel you excel at, this is your chance to show us!
To enter the optional talent round, you will be required to submit a video (maximum 90 seconds) showing your talent. This will be reviewed by an independent panel of judges. The shortlisted finalists will be presented to the judging panel at the grand finals and the winner will have their video played on the big screen!
Body Beautiful:
The team at Pageant Girl pride themselves on creating a platform for girls & women to love and celebrate their bodies.
To enter the optional Body Beautiful round, you will be required to submit a photograph of yourself in sportswear or swimwear. This will need to be accompanied by a paragraph of up to 500 words, explaining what Body Beautiful means to you & why you should win this award.
Photogenic:
The winner of this optional round will be judged to be the ‘most photogenic.’ This is the perfect opportunity to show how natural you are infront of the camera!
All entries into the photogenic competition are invited to submit two photographs for judging.
Beautifully Inspiring Ambassador
Beautifully Inspiring is the perfect way to describe the Pageant Girl finalists. Our organisation challenges & breaks down the stereotype that is associated with pageantry – we encourage our finalists to make amazing new friends & memories. Raising money for charity & making public appearances is not a compulsory part of this pageant but we know that many of our finalists have done so! Since 2012, Pageant Girl Ltd has raised over £500,000 for charities that we support (Together for Short Lives, The Christie and Claire’s House).
The Beautifully Inspiring Ambassador Award has been created to recognise what it means to YOU to be a Pageant Girl. To enter this award, you will be required to submit:
- Up to 750 words answering the question ‘How are you Beautifully Inspiring?’
The top 5 will be shortlisted by Holly Pirrie (director of Pageant Girl Ltd) and they will have a short interview with Holly on the day of the grand finals.
