We do hope that everyone is keeping well, and most importantly, that you are all keeping safe during these uncertain times.
Since the start of lockdown, we have been monitoring the situation closely and considering all options for how this event could take place on this weekend. However, we feel that it is now necessary to postpone the finals. we did want to try to avoid this because we know how much everyone is looking forward to this weekend but we know that this is the right decision at this time.
The finals will now take place, at the same venue, on:
August 8th – Miss & Miss Teen Pageant Girl UK
August 9th – Miss International United Kingdom
We are aware that we are all making changes to our normal lives in the fight against this virus, and this is true for our events too. We are reviewing all measures and procedures to ensure that when the competition takes place, we do so in an environment that is safe for all.
If anyone has booked a hotel room, the hotel will be transferring the bookings to the relevant date. Please know that the hotel is currently closed and they are not able to do this, or take new bookings, at this time.
We are so grateful for your understanding and continued messages of support. This is not an easy time for anyone and we hope that everyone is doing ok. We are all in new territory but we will come through this together. This situation is changing and evolving so quickly, but wse pray that as the summer months approach, we will be able to continue moving forward.
