Jemma Cox, our lovely Miss Intercontinental Wales, would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

With Christmas now just around the corner and the festive season starting, this time is one of my favourite times of the year. Let’s all face we all know it I’m defiantly the greedy queen. Stuffing her face with all the chocolates of the tree and not forget to give a special mention to the Welsh Christmas short bread!

Getting back on track. I never thought that a year ago I would be the one writing a Christmas Message as Miss Intercontinental Wales! Already half my year has flown by and for me what an experience it has been so far. The system has opened so many doors for me already, from being the face of an incredible lash company to starting my journey with preparations for Internationals I have so much planned for the New Year!

My amazing sister queens Natalie and Lilly, It’s fair to say I couldn’t have asked for two better sisters! You helped me through my drama hours when I think my life is falling apart (in reality is just choosing what colour nude shoes to buy) to simply just being there for me every day. The bond that you make with your fellow queens is indescribable. I am so honoured to have been chosen to represent Wales in January in Egypt and I cannot wait for my journey to internationals to begin!

To the girls that are preparing for the finals, just take it day by day and be true to yourself no matter what. Be your own individual and try to get in there with appearances as much as you can. It’s never too early to start planning and getting things prepared for the final. I think I was packed by the end of March for the final in June! It’s all about you and the individual you are, on how you will make a personal difference. I tried for many years to be like others and what I thought the judges would want to see. But the moment I was myself and relaxed was the moment my life honestly changed for the good!

For me this festive season, I’ll be spending Christmas at home with my Fiancé and Labrador stuffing our faces no doubt. The bonus of having separated parents means two Christmas dinners for me!!

I hope everyone enjoys the Christmas season and I hope that you all have a wonderful New Year to follow.

All of my love to you this Christmas, Jemma, your Miss Intercontinental Wales xxx
