Ashleigh Wild, our Miss Grand England, has been supporting Armed Forces week by attending her local service and parade!
‘Today I attended my local morning service and parade at the Blackpool Cenotaph as this week was Armed Forces Week, which is the nations chance to show their support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets. This is such an important day in our country’s calendar as showing support for the Armed Forces provides a much valued morale boost for the troops and their families.
Anybody that knows me personally will know how much I value and respect our armed forces, so attending the cenotaph for services like these are a must for me. It was also an honour to have today as my first appearance as Miss Grand England, especially with the Miss Grand International campaign of ‘Stop the War and Violence’.’
