Hayley Galloway, our gorgeous Miss Galaxy Scotland, wishes you all a very Merry Christmas!

‘I can’t believe I’m sitting here wishing you all a Merry Christmas, this year has flown in and it has been a whirlwind to say the least!

Reflecting on 2017, I would never have imagined in my wildest dreams that I would be where I am today and for this I am truly humbled. From winning Miss Galaxy Scotland in March 2017, a title I’ve dreamed of for the last 4 years to being given the opportunity to represent my country at the international finals, where I was blessed enough to place 1st runner up!

I have been through such an exciting year, attending appearances all over the U.K. During these events and my own fundraising, I am able to work with and support countless charities but the one closest to me is River Kids.

This time of year is a time for giving which takes me back to just before I jetted off to Orlando when I held my annual toy drive for River Kids. The outpouring support from everyone meant I was able to donate over £2000 worth of toys to children who otherwise would receive no Christmas or Birthday present. For this I personally thank you all for helping make someone’s Christmas special, my 2018 toy drive will start in the new year and I can’t wait to make it the biggest one yet!

This would not have been possible without the support of my local community, my family, friends, the pageant community and without a doubt my very own Brady Bunch a.k.a my sister queens, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.

Coming into the new year will also start the count down to the Galaxy U.K finals and in the last few months I have been able to work with a lot of finalists at appearances and hearing all about your journeys so far is incredible, and I wish everyone could experience the Galaxy finals journey for themselves, as it will truly change your life.

Galaxy has provided opportunities I never dreamed possible and helped me develop into the person I am today and given me life skills I would never have without this incredible system. It has also given me the best memories and closest friendships that I will treasure for the rest of my life. To anyone thinking you’re too late to enter please just go for it I promise looking back you will be so grateful you did.

As you all know I can talk for Scotland haha! So before I turn this into a book I will leave you with one last message….

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Lots of Love Hayley Galloway Miss Galaxy Scotland!

P.s I can’t wait to see everyone on Saturday at the Galaxy Girl meet up xx’
