May Parry, our Junior Miss Galaxy, was invited to walk in New York Fashion Week!
May had the most incredible experience walking in Janay Winsell’s show and was treated like a celeb!
May made the most of her time in New York and visited lots of tourist attractions including, Carlo’s Bake Shop, Madame Tussauds, the Statue of Liberty, watched the School of Rock on Broadway and she also made a few trips to Sephora (jealous much!?)!
Whilst May was in New York, she also made a very special appearance, here’s what May had to say about it:
‘Whilst in New York, I visited the fire house of Engine 54 9th Battalion “Pride of Midtown” which responded to the 9/11 terrorist attack. Sadly all of the 15 crew didn’t survive. I was invited in to look around and meet some of the firefighters who were on duty. All around the station are memorial tributes to the firefighters who lost their lives. We later visited ground zero and the 9/11 memorial museum which was really emotional. Thank you to the Fire House for allowing me to visit and I hope you enjoyed the cake. Remembering all those who lost their lives on 9/11′
